Candle Care

The first burn - Burn a new candle for at least 3 hours. All other burns should be between 3 - 4 hours. Never burn a candle longer than 4 hours.

Trim Your Wick - Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch after each subsequent burn. Trimming the wick helps prevent the flame from getting too large. Use a nail clipper for the silver vessels and a wick trimmer for the copper and black vessels.

Keep the wax pool clean - Remove any debris, such as dust or pet fur, from the wax pool to prevent it from catching fire.

Burn within sight - Keep a burning candle within sight and extinguish it when leaving a room or going to sleep.

Avoid drafts - Keep candles away from drafts, vents, fans, and open windows. Air currents can cause uneven burning, smoking, and a shorter burn time.

Don't move while lit - The vessel heats up as the candle burns, so it's safest to not touch or move a lit candle.

Keep away from flammable materials - Keep candles away from anything that can catch fire.

Keep out of reach - Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.

Place on a safe surface - Place candles on a temperature-safe surface to avoid heat damage.

Time to re-order a new candle - Never burn a candle all the way through, discontinue use when there is only 1/2 inch of wax remaining.
